Midya, Ina, Gasera at Yolanda: UP CMC’s 2013 Lantern

Throwback: Happy to take a shot of UP College of Mass Communication’s lantern during the annual UP Lantern Parade. Though I was there after sunset, I was glad to behold this when darkness added to its beauty.  Symbols and art in one. Job well done! Viva, Mass Comm! 🙂

Gungor and Jars of Clay Concert

The concert that occurred last Sunday, April 13, is Church Simplified’s way to start the Holy Week and to open up the CS Walkway in Bonifacio High Street. Props to CS and to my photo team buddies for the free VIP tickets! Super glad to hear Jars of Clay live. And though it was my first time to hear Gungor, I was breathless at how genius they were at their craft. Awesome music from them! Btw, all photos are non-official and taken from my seat, except for the last shot. Enjoy! 😀

Jilome and Elena’s Pre-Wedding Photos

If I remember it right, kuya Jilome asked me to shoot their pre-wedding photos while we were hiking Mt. Batulao. That was 2012.

After 2 years, I did.

The session was done inside UP campus for an ate and a kuya who recently tied the knot on the first of March. I’ve heard from many that UP is a favorite spot for photographers who seek to escape the hassle of securing venue permits (and paying the fee! Haha). Freedom to shoot is on hand. You cannot shoot inside the buildings, though. Anyway, that was the first time I experienced to click my shutter there. It’s also a joy to team up with some friends for the photography and HMUA. Most of all, I’m grateful to shoot the couple before their big day. 🙂

I’ll post some shots during their wedding soon! 🙂

2013 Debutante

Before I delete the files from my drive, I want to share how I shot a debutante last year’s fourth quarter. This was the first time I was asked to cover an event as the primary shooter.

It was indeed a new experience for me. Besides, I got to shoot the sister of my friend. It’s always fun to meet new people while doing what I love. I hope you may have fun, too, while browsing my shots. 😀
